WSIS - SMSI now underway
by
Wsis NetiZen
on 2003, December 10 - 7:29am
The official welcome ceremony took place last night, and today the Summit gets under way. The documents have now been agreed to, for the most part. Watch for more details, and be sure to register and log in to take part in Canada meeting place for WSIS SMSI. This site will carry on after Geneva and leading to Tunis.
The many Canadians here will all be asked to report on what they have witnessed or contributed to, and we hope that this site complements other web sites and participants who are making sure that Canada has a strong presence at this important moment. Please send your links or commentary if you have trouble posting here, to wsis-smsi@ecommons.net and we will help you out. The site is a work in progress and we will keep fixing, consolidating, and archiving. News daily.
Thanks Liss Jeffrey, civil society member Canadian delegation.
